Kaizer Chiefs move fixture to Dobsonville Stadium due to rugby clash

Kaizer Chiefs have announced a venue change for their upcoming match against Siwelele, which is now scheduled to take place at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Sunday, 6 September at 17:30.

The club reported that their traditional home, FNB Stadium, is unavailable due to a high-profile rugby tournament decider between the Springboks and the All Blacks. The club initially attempted to move the fixture to Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, but that venue also became unavailable.

Further attempts to secure Moses Mabhida Stadium and New Peter Mokaba Stadium were unsuccessful following inspections by the PSL, which ruled the pitches unsuitable for the proposed dates. Kaizer Chiefs apologized to supporters who had already made travel arrangements to Rustenburg.
