Kaizer Chiefs prepare for league match and CAF qualifying

Kaizer Chiefs are preparing for a return to competitive football on Tuesday at FNB Stadium, where they will host Stellenbosch FC for their eighth Betway Premiership match. Currently sitting fourth in the league with 13 points, Chiefs aim to maintain their momentum following a three-week break due to the international window. Stellenbosch FC, currently in seventh place with nine points, will look to close the gap on the top teams.

In continental competition, Kaizer Chiefs are set to face Zambian side Red Arrows in the second qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup. The two-legged tie offers a significant financial incentive, as advancing to the group stages would secure a minimum prize of approximately R6.6 million (USD400,000). The first leg will take place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on October 17, followed by a return leg at Moses Mabhida Stadium on October 23.
