Kajsa Arwefjäll climbs 33 spots to tie for 20th at Women's Open

Swedish golfer Kajsa Arwefjäll posted a bogey‑free 69 (‑2) in the second round of the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes, moving up 33 places to share 20th position overall. She hit 11 of 14 fairways and all 14 greens, saying she played well and found good speed on her long putts.

Other contenders included Anna Nordqvist, who shot a 70 (‑1) to rise 27 spots to a tie for 26th, and Maja Stark, who recorded a 72 (+1) and sits tied 54th. South Korean Haeran Ryu leads after 36 holes at seven under par, one stroke ahead of Japan’s Shiho Kuwaki. Defending champion Linn Grant missed the cut after a 77 (+6) in the second round.
