Kakanj Cultural Days Continue with Concerts and Book Promotion

The Kakanj Cultural Days festival is ongoing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, featuring a book launch for "Na krilima stihova" authored by 23 local students. The young writers presented poems and literary works, receiving enthusiastic applause.

The program also includes the long‑running stage play "Državni lopov" performed by the trio Nusmir Muharemović, Mirza Mušija and Irfan Kasumović, and concerts on the Main Stage. Singer Ilma Karahmet opened the evening with her well‑known hits, followed by a performance from Vedran Vexon and his band. An upcoming concert by Amira Jašarspahić Gile is scheduled for later in the weekend.

Festival director Dženan Ajdinović noted that the weekend will also host a 5‑km race, an old‑timer car show, and the Gile concert. Earlier, events were postponed after the tragic Elbrus mountain accident that claimed the lives of five climbers from Zenica, prompting organizers to reschedule the affected performances.
