Kakao integrates National Pension services into AI National Secretary

Kakao has expanded its ‘AI National Secretary’ service, currently being piloted with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, to include National Pension Service functions via KakaoTalk.

Users can now check their National Pension subscription details, verify eligibility for voluntary enrollment, calculate expected insurance premiums based on desired monthly income, and complete voluntary enrollment applications directly through chat conversations. The service utilizes Kakao certificates for identity verification to handle sensitive information securely.

This integration aims to improve accessibility for groups such as students and homemakers who are eligible for voluntary enrollment. Kakao plans to continue discussions with the National Pension Service to expand these capabilities and evolve the AI National Secretary into a comprehensive public AI service that handles various administrative tasks within a single conversational flow.
