Kakegawa community hosts medical and health awareness event

An event focused on medical, welfare, and nursing care was held at ‘Kibo no Oka’ in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, to encourage health awareness and community interaction.

Organized by Kakegawa Higashi Hospital alongside seven other medical and welfare facilities, the event featured hospital tours led by nurses and interactive sessions where children could experience the work of a doctor. Popular attractions included stations for measuring muscle mass and autonomic nervous system balance, providing participants with tangible health data. The venue also hosted approximately 40 booths offering food and various goods, attracting many families.
