Kakujyo Uoruigyo opens new Tsurugashima store in Saitama

Kakujyo Uoruigyo Holdings Co., Ltd. opened its new Tsurugashima store in Saitama Prefecture on August 20, 2026. This marks the company’s eighth location within the prefecture.

The Tsurugashima site serves as a strategic hub for the company, which has operated a distribution and manufacturing center in the area since 2023. The new retail outlet will feature fresh seafood sourced directly from Teradomari Port in Niigata and selected seasonal items from Toyosu Market.

To celebrate the opening, a four-day promotional sale is being held through August 23, 2026. Featured sale items include bluefin tuna sashimi platters for 1,100 yen, salted silver salmon fillets for 200 yen, and various limited-time offers such as yellowtail and sea bream. The facility also includes a meat section operated by Nikudokoro Okubo and a produce section called Verger Tsurugashima.
