Kala Rivero performs duet with Nicki Nicole on Popstars

Kala Rivero, a rapper and freestyle artist from Río Negro, made a notable debut on the Telefe reality show Popstars. During her audition, Rivero performed ‘Wapo Traketero’, one of Nicki Nicole’s early iconic tracks.

The performance led to an unexpected moment when Nicki Nicole joined Rivero on stage to sing the song as a duet. When host Nico Vázquez jokingly asked if the urban music star would take Rivero on tour, Nicki Nicole replied, ‘Obvio, ya está’ (Of course, it’s already done).

Rivero, originally from Ingeniero Jacobacci and having studied dramatic arts in General Roca, is currently based in Buenos Aires to advance her musical career. Following her audition, she will continue participating in the reality competition.
