Kalabaka begins urban and commercial upgrade works

The Open Trade Center of Kalabaka has entered its second week of construction, marking a major urban and commercial upgrade for the city center. Works are currently underway on Sofokleous Street and Platanos Square.

On Sofokleous Street, sidewalks are being widened and paved with cobblestones. The project also includes paving the roadway. In Platanos Square, redevelopment efforts include reconstructing the floor, adding a staircase, replacing seating and railings, and creating new planters and wooden walkways. The project covers several key central axes, including Trikalon, Kondyli, and Rigas Feraios squares, with a total delivery timeline of 12 months.
