Kalamata Basket announces new player signings

Kalamata Basket has announced two significant roster additions as it prepares for the upcoming National League 2 season.

Nektarios Karagellis, a 25-year-old, 1.88m guard, is returning to the club. Karagellis previously played for Akadimos in Kalamata before moving to Amynta and playing for several teams in the Achaia region, including Glaucos Esperos, Asteras Temenis, and Panachaiki, where he achieved promotion.

The club also secured Ilias Christopoulos to strengthen its frontcourt. Christopoulos is a 2.01m player born in 2003 who can play both the 4 and 5 positions. His previous experience includes playing for the developmental teams of Promitheas Patras and Aiolos Aigias, as well as stints with Ifestos/Achilleas, Aiolos Aigias, Promitheas 2014, Asteras Temenis, and Panachaiki, with the latter including a recent promotion from National League 2.
