Kalamata FC appoints Daniel Batista as sporting director and Ilia Mourousias as team manager
Greek Super League 2 club PA E Kalamata announced a reshuffle of its technical staff. Former coach Daniel Batista has been named sporting director, taking charge of the club’s overall sporting strategy and player recruitment. Ilia Mourousias has been appointed team manager, responsible for daily coordination of the football department.
The club also confirmed the renewal of 19‑year‑old forward Angelos Tsiofis, who finished last season as Kalamata’s second‑leading scorer with 14 goals. The changes are presented as part of a broader plan to solidify the squad ahead of the upcoming Super League campaign, with pre‑season training set to continue in Chania and a preparation camp in Bańsko, Bulgaria.
