Kalamata hospital opens nursing assistant registrations

The Messenia General Hospital in Kalamata has announced the registration period for its School of Continuing Vocational Education (SAEK) for the 2026–2027 academic year. Registrations will take place from September 1 to September 21, 2026.

The program offers free tuition for the specialty of ‘General Nursing Assistant’. High school graduates are eligible to apply with no age limit. Additionally, graduates of vocational high schools (EPAL) and certain technical cycles can enroll directly into the third semester. The school also facilitates placements and specialty changes for graduates of IEK and other SAEK programs.

Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 14:00. The facility is located in Antikala, Messenia, near the Messenia General Hospital.
