Kalamata hosts 12th White Night shopping and cultural event

Kalamata is hosting its 12th White Night on Saturday, August 29, 2026, a major commercial and cultural event organized by the Municipality of Kalamata in collaboration with local trade and chamber associations. To facilitate the event, retail stores will operate with extended hours until 02:00, offering significant discounts and special promotions.

The evening features various cultural activities, including a musical procession by the Philharmonic Society through the historic center. Musical performances include the K.S. Band at 20:30 at the 23rd of March Square, followed by a headline concert by Panos Mouzourakis at 21:00 in the Central Square.

To ensure public safety and order, vehicle traffic will be prohibited in the city center and the historic center. Emergency services, including the Red Cross, the Greek Rescue Team, and municipal police, will be on standby. The Spiritual Center of Kalamata will remain open as a first aid station.
