Kalamata teacher attends AI in education training in Amsterdam

As part of the Erasmus+ KA120-SCH program (2022–2027), Anastasia Pissari, a teacher from the 3rd General Lyceum of Kalamata, participated in a training program in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from July 13 to 18.

The seminar, titled ‘Integrating Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom with a Critical Spirit’, focused on utilizing modern digital tools within the educational process. The training emphasized the responsible and pedagogically sound use of AI to foster students' critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy.

Key topics included practical applications for designing interactive lessons, creating educational materials, personalizing learning, and student assessment. The program also addressed the importance of effective prompt engineering, ethical considerations, information reliability, and data protection. The training aimed to position educators as guides who use AI to enhance investigation and active participation rather than as a substitute for knowledge.
