Kalbe Farma provides medical aid to Flores earthquake victims

Kalbe Farma Tbk has partnered with the Indonesian Air Force Territorial Center (Pusterau) to provide emergency medical relief to communities affected by earthquakes in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

The collaboration involved the distribution of 1.45 tons of medical supplies, including vaccines, medicines, vitamins, nutrition, and medical equipment. The aid is intended to support approximately 10,000 people in the Ngada and Nagekeo regencies, specifically in the areas of Bajawa, Maronggela, Riung, and Nggolonio.

This relief effort follows a major 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the waters north of Flores on August 15, 2026, which triggered thousands of aftershocks and caused significant damage across the region. The distribution is being coordinated with local health offices and food and drug authorities to ensure optimal utilization of the supplies.
