Kalesnikoff opens new office building in Castlegar
Kalesnikoff officially opened a new two-storey office building in Castlegar during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 21. Located adjacent to the company’s mass timber facility near the West Kootenay Regional Airport, the facility consolidates several of the company’s support teams into a single location.
The building was constructed by Kalesnikoff using its own mass timber products and local lumber. As a tribute to the company’s heritage, a restored 1947 International KB-7—the first truck the company purchased to haul logs and lumber—is prominently displayed in the office. The ceremony also included a tribute to Ken Kalesnikoff, marking his 50 years of service with the company.
