Kali Coffee Bar to close in Galway after five years

Kali Coffee Bar, a prominent specialty café in Upper Salthill, Galway, has announced it will close on 28 August 2026. Owners Laura and Enda stated the decision was entirely their own and not due to any negative external pressures.

During its five years of operation, the café achieved significant recognition, including being named the 32nd best coffee shop in Europe and receiving a Brewers Cup Championship win. The establishment was noted for its role as a community hub within the Galway food scene.
