Kaliningrad launches Autumn Week of Good Deeds

Kaliningrad has launched the ‘Autumn Week of Good Deeds,’ a volunteering programme running from October 13 to October 20. Organized by the city’s Dobrovolets Volunteer Centre and the Municipal Youth Centre, the initiative aims to encourage civic engagement through a variety of activities ranging from historical education to environmental protection.

The programme includes a historical quiz commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Kaliningrad Region, a volunteer flash mob on Kant Island, and a clean-up event at Yaltinsky Pond. To conclude the week, organizers are hosting collection drives for plastic bottle caps and animal food donations for local shelters.
