Kalise traces growth from Las Canteras to national leadership
Kalise, founded in 1960 as Interglas, S.A. in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, has evolved from a small local operation into a national leader in the dairy and ice cream industry. Starting with a limited production capacity focused on local kiosks and beach bars, the company achieved technological milestones in the 1960s with the introduction of electric freezers and refrigerated trucks.
Following its expansion to mainland Spain in 1967, the company diversified into dairy products, launching yogurts in 1973. Today, Kalise maintains a presence in over 12,000 points of sale across the Canary Islands and distributes products nationally and internationally, recently expanding its catalog with innovative flavors and products like kefir.
