Kalla 10K 2026 attracts 4,500 runners to Makassar

The Kalla 10K 2026 running event was held at the Anjungan Pantai Losari area in Makassar, attracting 4,500 participants from various regions across Indonesia. The event featured both amateur running communities and national-level athletes.

Robi Syianturi, a gold medalist in the men's marathon at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, secured first place in the 10K General Male category. Syianturi, who has Bugis roots from Bone, noted that the event's implementation of a Cut Off Time (COT) serves as a positive challenge that encourages runners to train more seriously.

In the 10K General Female category, Asnida Aras claimed first place. She noted that this year's route toward Tanjung Bunga presented new challenges due to its undulating terrain, making the competition more intense.
