The image was tagged with Rovanperä, who later shared the same post and tagged Halttunen, suggesting both were involved in the discussion.
Halttunen has been Rovanperä’s co‑driver since 2017, and together they won the rally world championship in 2022 and 2023. Their partnership ended after the 2023 season as Rovanperä turned his focus to a Formula career. While the pair will not compete in the event, a demonstration run remains possible. The rally organisers noted that a similar demonstration was performed last year by former champion Marcus Grönholm.
