Kallithea: 18-year-old arrested for stabbing former partner

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in Kallithea after allegedly stabbing his 19-year-old former partner with a kitchen knife during a meeting. The victim sustained a leg injury and was transported to Laiko Hospital for medical treatment.

The victim reported that the attack followed a history of domestic violence, obsessive behavior, and extreme jealousy. She stated that she had previously filed two reports against the suspect regarding his aggressive conduct. During the encounter, the suspect also allegedly stole her mobile phone.

The suspect, who was located by a passing police patrol near the scene, faces charges of domestic violence and theft. His legal representative stated that the individual expressed remorse and claimed he was “blinded by jealousy” during a verbal altercation.
