Kallithea Mayor demands answers after seven simultaneous water network failures

The Municipality of Kallithea has expressed serious concern following seven simultaneous failures in the EYDAP water supply network, which occurred within a few hours on Sunday morning.

In a letter addressed to the President of EYDAP, Kallithea Mayor Kostas Askounis demanded an immediate and in-depth investigation into the causes of these concurrent malfunctions. The Mayor requested documented explanations regarding the conditions that led to such simultaneous incidents and called for the implementation of a specific prevention plan to mitigate future risks.

Additionally, the municipal authority emphasized the need for the safe and high-quality restoration of both the water supply and the road surfaces damaged during the repair process. The Mayor noted that a functioning water network is essential for the quality of life in Kallithea and that proper road repairs are vital for the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
