Kaloré man dies after tractor accident in Paraná

Eurélio Natal Cereja, an 82-year-old man, died on Thursday following a serious tractor accident in the rural area of Kaloré, in the Vale do Ivaí region of northern Paraná. The accident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, October 20.

Preliminary reports from local residents suggest that Cereja was attempting to push the tractor when the machinery passed over him. While the exact circumstances have not been officially confirmed by authorities, the incident was characterized as a workplace accident.

Following the accident, Cereja was initially treated and taken to the Municipal Hospital of Kaloré. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the Hospital da Providência in Apucarana, where he remained hospitalized until his death. Cereja, a pioneer in the Jussiara district, was described by the community as a hardworking and well-regarded individual.
