Kalshi launches $10 promo for sports prediction markets

Kalshi, a CFTC‑regulated financial exchange, is offering new U.S. users a $10 bonus when they trade on its sports prediction contracts. Using the promo code PROFILER, newcomers can unlock the bonus after placing $10 worth of trades on the NBA matchup between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. With the code WSN, a $10 credit is awarded once a user completes $100 in contract volume on the MLB game featuring the Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals. Kalshi’s platform lets participants buy and sell contracts that settle at $1.00 if the selected outcome occurs or $0.00 otherwise, with contract prices reflecting the market’s implied probability. For the Reds‑Cardinals game, the Cardinals “yes” contract trades around $0.56 (56% implied probability) and the Reds around $0.44 (44%). The Knicks‑Spurs market similarly reflects each team’s odds. The bonuses are available in all U.S. states except Nevada.
