Kalshi launches $500 promo codes for NBA, UFC, MLB and golf betting

Kalshi, a U.S. financial exchange regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, is running a series of new promotional offers for new customers. By entering one of several referral codes—ALCOM, MLIVE, OREGONLIVE1, SILIVE, SYRACUSE, MASSLIVE1, among others—users who trade a minimum of $25 receive a bonus credit that can range from $15 to $500, with a 0.35% chance of the maximum reward.

The promos are tied to upcoming sports events: NBA futures markets reacted to LeBron James signing with the Philadelphia 76ers, UFC Fight Night (Ankalaev vs. Guskov), MLB matchups including Yankees‑Phillies and Mets‑Dodgers, the PGA 3M Open, and the WNBA All‑Star 3‑point contest. Bonuses must be claimed within 30 days of account creation and used within seven days; they cannot be withdrawn directly. Certain states are excluded from participation (e.g., Michigan, Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, etc.).

Kalshi reports that the NBA futures market alone generated over $228 million in trading volume after the LeBron announcement, underscoring the platform’s liquidity and growing user interest across its various sports‑prediction markets.
