Kalyon PV to establish solar technology factory in the US

Kalyon PV has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in the United States as part of its global growth strategy. The decision was shared during an investor meeting held at the company’s integrated production facility in Ankara.

The new U.S. facility will operate through a partnership in which Kalyon PV is the majority shareholder. The plant aims to manufacture solar energy products, primarily solar panels, in compliance with local regulations and domestic content requirements. This move is intended to facilitate direct sales into the American market and establish a dedicated sales and marketing organization within the country.

During the meeting, company leadership, including Chairman Murathan Kalyoncu and Kalyon Holding CEO Mustafa Koçar, presented the company’s technological capabilities, financial outlook, and international expansion goals. The company identified the U.S. market as a key strategic location due to increasing demand and incentive mechanisms that support local production.
