Kalypso Gorge offers natural scenery on the slopes of Kissavos
Located on the eastern slopes of Kissavos, near the Aegean coast, Kalypso Gorge—also known as the Gyouras stream—is a natural destination characterized by dense vegetation, running water, and rocky formations.
Visitors can access the gorge through hiking trails from the Kokkino Nero side or via a combination of driving and walking. The landscape features natural rock pools formed by water erosion, which serve as cooling spots for visitors. The area also contains the Kalypso waterfall, the appearance of which varies by season, becoming more prominent during periods of higher rainfall.
