Kamala Harris cites FDR, Kennedy, Johnson and Obama as most effective U.S. presidents, leaves Biden off list

At the National Urban League Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, former Vice President Kamala Harris was asked to name the most effective presidents in American history. She highlighted Franklin D. Roosevelt, describing his three‑term leadership, expansion of the Supreme Court, and Social Security reforms, and said he understood the government's three essential functions: public health, public safety and public education. Harris also named John F. Kennedy and his successor Lyndon B. Johnson, and concluded with Barack Obama, whose Affordable Care Act earned a loud ovation.

Harris notably omitted President Joe Biden from her list, a move that was reported as a political snub.
