Kamala Harris Leads Democratic 2028 Primary Polls Over Gavin Newsom

A series of recent national surveys place former Vice President Kamala Harris well ahead of California Governor Gavin Newsom in the 2028 Democratic presidential field. Earlier in May, an Emerson College poll had Pete Buttigieg ahead of Newsom and Harris lagging, but subsequent surveys have firmly positioned Harris at the top.
