Kamala Harris leads early 2028 Democratic presidential polling
A new Rasmussen Reports poll indicates that former Vice President Kamala Harris holds a significant lead among potential Democratic candidates for the 2028 presidential election. Harris secured 37 percent support, an increase from the 34 percent recorded by the same institute in May.
In the same survey, California Governor Gavin Newsom followed with 14 percent support, while Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez received 9 percent. While this poll shows Harris strengthening her position, other national surveys have presented more mixed results regarding potential frontrunners.
