Kamala Harris' Malibu home targeted by trespasser
An unidentified woman attempted to enter the Malibu residence of former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, on Friday night. Private security personnel intercepted the individual on the property before she could reach the home.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 10:30 p. m. following a report of a suspicious person. The woman, who reportedly arrived via an Uber, was advised by law enforcement to leave the premises and departed voluntarily without incident. No arrests were made, though a trespassing report was filed.
The incident has highlighted ongoing security concerns for Harris, as she no longer receives Secret Service protection. While former Vice Presidents typically receive six months of federal protection, President Donald Trump revoked an extension previously granted by President Joe Biden in August 2025. Local authorities have stated they will increase patrols in the area as a precaution.
