Kamala Harris urges midterm turnout following Supreme Court voting ruling

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has launched a campaign for the 2026 midterm elections, urging supporters to turn out in large numbers to counter what she describes as attempts by Republicans to “cheat.” In a video posted to X, Harris used the slogan “too big to rig,” a phrase previously associated with Donald Trump.

Harris’ comments follow a recent Supreme Court decision that lifted a lower court injunction, allowing the Trump administration to proceed with parts of an executive order aimed at overhauling mail-in voting rules. Harris criticized the ruling, stating it backed the president’s agenda to make voting by mail more difficult. She attributed the push for voting restrictions to Republican concerns over economic issues, such as gas and food prices, and involvement in war.

Conservative critics and organizations, including Turning Point USA, have responded to Harris’ messaging, accusing her of adopting Trump’s own rhetoric and questioning the originality of her campaign strategy.
