Kamarat advances in Coppa Italia Eccellenza after Sancataldese disqualification

Kamarat has advanced to the next round of the Coppa Italia Eccellenza after a successful appeal regarding the eligibility of Sancataldese captain Fabio Calabrese.

Although Sancataldese originally won the return leg 2-0 at the “Vito Di Marco” stadium in Cammarata—reversing a 0-1 first-leg deficit to qualify on the pitch—the sporting judge ruled that Calabrese was ineligible to play. The captain had an outstanding suspension from a previous season following a double yellow card received during a Serie D Coppa Italia match on October 22, 2025.

Following the formal appeal by Kamarat, the sporting judge issued a decision overturning the on-field result, awarding the victory to Kamarat and resulting in the elimination of Sancataldese.
