Kamelot releases new concept album ‘Dark Asylum’
Symphonic metal band Kamelot has released their fourteenth studio album, titled ‘Dark Asylum’, via Napalm Records. The concept album features 15 tracks and follows a narrative set in the fictional RavenHill Asylum, a location where science, faith, and madness intersect. The story explores themes of isolation, identity, and psychological transformation.
Produced by Sascha Paeth and Jacob Hansen, the album includes several notable guest appearances. These include Clémentine Delauney of Visions of Atlantis, Ignacia Fernández of Decessus, and Tobias Sammet of Avantasia. The final single, ‘Sanctuary’, features a vocal trio consisting of Tommy Karevik, Delauney, and Fernández.
To support the release, the band is launching the ‘Dark Asylum World Tour’. The tour begins in Orlando, Florida, and includes North American stops in New York, Seattle, and Dallas. International dates include Tilburg, London, Warsaw, and Barcelona.
