Kamelot announces new album Dark Asylum and releases Godlike Alchemy single

Kamelot’s forthcoming album, Dark Asylum, is set for release on 28 August 2026 via Napalm Records. The band has issued its second single, “Godlike Alchemy,” following the debut track “Ashen World,” which was highlighted by Metal Hammer as a top weekly pick. Front‑man Tommy Karevik said the song “encapsulates the overarching theme of Dark Asylum,” exploring inner peace, magical potential and personal healing. Guitarist Thomas Youngblood explained the album’s storyline of a soul wandering the hallways of Raven Hill in search of truth and redemption. The record was produced by Sascha Paeth with mixing and mastering handled by Jacob Hansen. To support the release, Kamelot will embark on a European tour in November 2026, with dates in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia and Italy, sharing the bill with EXIT EDEN and TEMPERANCE.
