Kamen Rider franchise announces anniversary celebrations and new manga

Toei is launching several initiatives to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kamen Rider Kabuto. As part of the ‘Kamen Rider Kabuto 20th: Ten wo Tsugu Mono’ campaign, selected episodes will be released for free on the Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official channel starting October 1. The episodes were chosen by cast members Yuki Sato, Hidenori Tokuyama, and Kazuki Kato. Additionally, a new version of the theme song, ‘NEXT LEVEL Pass the tofu Version’, will be released on digital platforms on September 30.

The anniversary celebrations include a new V-Cinext production, which is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on November 6, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release in February 2027.

In related franchise news, Ishimori Pro has released a free web manga for Kamen Rider MY-TH. The short story, drawn by veteran artist Masato Hayase in a style inspired by original creator Shotaro Ishinomori, serves as a supplement to the television series that premiered in early September on TV Asahi. The manga follows characters Yuna and Sora as they encounter an attempted kidnapping involving Tsubasa Fukashigi.
