Kamešnica mountain rescue locates two Chinese citizens
The Mountain Rescue Service of Hercegbosanska Canton (GSS HBŽ) has successfully located two Chinese citizens lost on the Kamešnica mountain within a 24-hour period.
The first individual was found around 5:30 AM on Monday on the southern slopes of the mountain following a search that utilized thermal imaging drones. A second Chinese citizen was located several hours later in the Široka Draga area, also on the southern slopes.
Tomislav Tadić of GSS HBŽ stated that while both individuals were found in the same general region, they were at different locations with different access points. It remains unclear if the two individuals were traveling together or if the incidents are related. The rescue area is situated a few kilometers from the border line.
