Juventus seeks goalkeeper replacement after Kamil Grabara ACL injury

Juventus goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has suffered a serious knee injury, tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during training. Medical examinations confirm he will be sidelined for at least six to seven months, potentially missing the remainder of the season. This injury exacerbates an existing injury crisis at the club, which has already seen several key players sidelined.

In response to the emergency, Juventus is actively exploring the free agent market to secure an experienced replacement. The club is reportedly prioritizing a return for Brazilian goalkeeper Neto, who previously played for the team between 2015 and 2017. Other potential candidates being evaluated include Sergio Rico, Alfred Gomis, and Alessio Cragno.

The injury also impacts the Poland national team. Manager Jan Urban will have to adjust his squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures, as Grabara is expected to be unavailable. Bartłomiej Drągowski has been called up to replace him in the national team roster.
