Kamil Majchrzak Stuns World No. 4 Felix Auger‑Aliassime in Den Bosch Quarterfinal

Polish ATP No. 76 Kamil Majchrzak advanced to the quarter‑finals of the Libema Open (ATP 250) in ’s‑Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, held from 8‑14 June 2026. After a straight‑sets win over Australian James McCabe (6‑0, 6‑3) in 55 minutes, Majchrzak pulled off a career‑defining upset by defeating world No. 4 Canadian Felix Auger‑Aliassime 6‑4, 6‑3. The victory marked Majchrzak’s first win over a top‑5 player and moved him up to around No. 61 in the ATP rankings. Earlier in the week he had reached the semifinals of the Birmingham Challenger, and fellow Pole Hubert Hurkacz also competed in the Dutch event.

Majchrzak dominated the match, winning 93 % of points on the second serve and converting key break points, while Auger‑Aliassime struggled to find rhythm. The win is being hailed as Majchrzak’s biggest career triumph and a significant boost for Polish tennis.
