Kamil Stoch and Ewa Bilan-Stoch face travel complications in Peru

Olympic ski jumper Kamil Stoch and his wife, Ewa Bilan-Stoch, are currently traveling around the world, a journey they began in October after Stoch retired from professional sports. The couple is presently in Peru, following a visit to Puerto Rico.

During their stay in Peru, the couple encountered logistical difficulties regarding souvenir purchases. Ewa Bilan-Stoch reported on social media that transporting items back to Poland would be problematic due to high customs duties and the logistical burden of extra luggage for their remaining eight-country itinerary. She noted that the cost of customs for items like alpaca sweaters is nearly equivalent to the price of the items themselves, leading to a strategy of only purchasing unique, handmade goods.
