In a recent interview, she shared that while she finds strength in her seven grandchildren and her family, there are extremely difficult days when she struggles to get out of bed. She also addressed the cruelty of anonymous internet comments that suggested the tragedy was a form of karma, a concept she previously did not weigh heavily but now views through a different lens following her loss.
