Kamnik Municipality advances infrastructure and renovation projects
The Municipality of Kamnik is progressing with several infrastructure and renovation projects. In the Motnik area, a 2.2 million euro investment has been completed, featuring a new sewage network spanning nearly 2.7 kilometers, a small communal wastewater treatment plant for approximately 250 residents, and an upgraded water supply system. To enhance energy efficiency, a 15.45 kW solar power plant was installed on the roof of the Motnik branch school.
Additionally, flood recovery efforts are underway, with the Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Waters overseeing the remediation of watercourses and ravines to ensure flow and remove debris. In the town of Kamnik, energy renovation work continues at the Kamnik Music School and the France Balantič Library. Renovations at the library include structural stability improvements, electrical installations, and roofing works.
