Kamo State addresses Funke Akindele's absence from ‘Starlomo’ premiere

Skitmaker and actor Kamo State recently held the premiere for his debut cinema film, ‘Starlomo’, in Lagos. The event drew various Nollywood figures but also sparked social media speculation regarding several industry relationships.

Kamo State addressed rumors concerning the absence of actress Funke Akindele from the premiere. He clarified that Akindele was simply out of the country and dismissed claims of a disagreement between the two, stating they remain on good terms.

Additionally, actor Jide Awobona drew attention for his interactions at the event. Following previous social media backlash regarding his proximity to Mo Bimpe, Awobona was observed briefly interacting with Bimpe and her husband, Lateef, during the premiere. Mo Bimpe previously addressed public scrutiny regarding her marriage, asserting that her husband is secure and that brief conversations with friends do not threaten their relationship.
