Kampar Regency officials review eight draft regional regulations

The Kampar Regency Government and the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) are working to strengthen regional development through the discussion of eight draft regional regulations (Ranperda).

The government has proposed four regulations covering the 2026–2035 regional tourism master plan, labor, public order and community protection, and amendments to regional asset management. Additionally, the DPRD has introduced four initiative-based regulations concerning customary villages, communal lands (Tanah Ulayat), plenary mosques, and tourism villages. These measures aim to improve governance, empower communities, and preserve cultural values while accelerating regional development.
