Kampar Regent advocates for MSME financial access at national meeting
Kampar Regent Ahmad Yuzar emphasized the necessity of synergy between central and local governments to expand financial services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Speaking after the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) in Jakarta, Yuzar highlighted that improved access to financing is essential for regional economic growth.
The meeting was led by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and various regional leaders. President Prabowo stressed the strategic role of TPAKD in supporting development and strengthening partnerships between the government and stakeholders. He noted that national economic strength must translate into real benefits for the people, specifically through increased real income and purchasing power.
To support this, the central government intends to continue encouraging credit incentives and assistance for small-scale communities, including farmers and fishermen.
