Kampinos National Park owner convicted after dog kills deer

A court has convicted a dog owner for allowing her pet to roam off-leash in Kampinos National Park, resulting in the death of a young deer. The incident occurred in February, and the owner was identified by park guards with the help of witnesses.

This case follows other recent legal actions within the park, including a ruling against a man who repeatedly walked his dog without a leash in protected areas. Park authorities emphasize that leash regulations are essential for wildlife protection, as off-leash dogs can cause fatal encounters with wild animals that owners may not be able to control.
