Kampung Nenasi selected for Madani Adopted Village and School programs

Kampung Nenasi and SK Nenasi have been selected as the Madani Adopted Village and Adopted School for the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) for 2026. The initiative involves a total allocation of RM700,000, approved by the Ministry of Finance.

The funding is distributed as follows: RM500,000 for upgrading facilities in Kampung Nenasi, RM100,000 for SK Nenasi to improve school facilities and implement programs, and RM100,000 for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiatives in collaboration with Rompin Community College.

Planned infrastructure projects include upgrading the local mosque and community hall, repairing futsal courts, improving the administration office for the Bebar Mukim Islamic Burial Society, installing solar street lights, and providing community tent facilities. The TVET collaboration will focus on practical skills such as air conditioning maintenance, electrical wiring, and CCTV installation. Additionally, the Madani Tuition Program will support the education and character development of local youth. Most projects are reported to be nearing completion.
