Kamu Hizmeti Komisyonu wraps up public service and English exams in Northern Cyprus
The Northern Cyprus Public Service Commission (KHK) announced that 4,717 candidates sat for the recent public service and English language examinations, out of 5,867 applicants. Five schools in Lefkoşa served as test centres, with 100 invigilators and police support ensuring smooth operation.
Participation varied by level: 1,822 candidates took the Middle‑Level exam (37% pass rate, top score 94), 140 attended the Upper‑Level exam (21% pass, top score 88), and 2,102 sat the Lower‑Level exam (70% pass, highest score 100). The Commission cited low enrollment fees as a primary factor for the 1,150 applicants who did not attend. Temporary results are posted on the KHK website, with final results to follow after a three‑day appeal period. Successful candidates scoring 60 or above will receive certificates from the Commission.
