Kana Nakata releases third photo book filmed in Vietnam

Former Nogizaka46 member and professional mahjong player Kana Nakata held a press conference in Tokyo to celebrate the release of her third photo book, titled ‘Bougainvillea’ (published by Kodansha).

Shot in Vietnam, the book features various themes including temple settings, poolside shots, and lingerie. Nakata noted that the title was inspired by the vibrant pink flowers she saw during her travels. She expressed gratitude for her career opportunities following her graduation from Nogizaka46 in 2020, stating she did not expect to engage in as much gravure modeling as she does now.

In addition to her media appearances, Nakata remains focused on her professional mahjong career as a member of the M-League team ‘BEAST X’. She described the photo shoot as a refreshing vacation between competitive seasons and expressed her commitment to contributing to her team's success in the upcoming season.
